What this platform is

Open Heart Sessions is a peer-support platform. It is not a therapy service, a crisis helpline, or a medical service. The people you talk to are ordinary individuals who want to help — they are not licensed counsellors or mental health professionals. If you are in crisis, please contact a professional service in your country.

Who can use it

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must not use the platform if you have been previously banned.
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

What you must not do

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension:

• Harassment, abuse, threats, or hate speech toward other users
• Sharing, soliciting, or coercing the sharing of sexual content
• Scamming, phishing, or soliciting money from other users
• Sharing personally identifiable information about another person without consent
• Attempting to circumvent Vibe Guard or other moderation systems
• Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban
• Using the platform to recruit for external services or groups

Credits and payments

• Credits are purchased in advance and used to start conversations.
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase for unused credits. Contact us at support@openheartsessions.com.
• Credits earned through Listener sessions are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to revoke credits gained through abuse of the platform.

Listener Mode

Becoming a Listener is voluntary. As a Listener, you agree to engage respectfully, maintain confidentiality about conversation content, and not misuse the role for personal gain beyond the credit system. We reserve the right to revoke Listener eligibility at any time based on feedback scores or moderation flags.

Content and moderation

All messages pass through automated moderation. Messages flagged for harmful content are reviewed by our safety team. We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, and share information with law enforcement where required by law or where safety is at risk.

Limitation of liability

Open Heart Sessions is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for the content of conversations, the actions of other users, or any harm resulting from use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the value of credits in your account at the time of any claim.
