Safety

Your safety comes first.

Open Heart Sessions is a space for real, human connection — and we take protecting that space seriously. This page explains how we keep you safe, what to do if something goes wrong, and where to turn if you need more than a conversation.

If you are in immediate danger

Please call your local emergency services (112 or 911) or a crisis helpline immediately. Open Heart Sessions is a peer support platform — we are not equipped to handle life-threatening emergencies in real time.

How we protect you

Vibe Guard

Every message passes through our AI moderation layer before it reaches the other person. Harmful content is blocked automatically.

Anonymous by design

No real names. No photos at the start. You control what you share and when. Your identity is yours to protect.

Easy reporting

Any message can be reported with one tap. Our safety team reviews reports within 24 hours and takes action immediately in serious cases.

Reporting a problem

Inside any conversation, tap the flag icon on any message to report it. You can also report a user from their profile. Reports are anonymous — the other person will not know you reported them.

For urgent safety concerns outside the app, email safety@openheartsessions.com. We respond to urgent reports within 2 hours.
